fish creek park launch

The Fish Creek Park launch is located at the south end of Fish Creek Park, just upstream of the Marquis of Lorne Trail (Highway 22X) bridge, and is one of two possible starting points for our most popular full day drift that takes us 31 km to McKinnon Flats. It is also a popular launch for a short 8 km drift to Policeman’s Flats. This stretch of river, that will take you just south of the city, has a number of very nice runs and holes that produce some very nice fish. If you are looking for a quick evening float with the hopes of maybe hitting a caddis hatch just before you pull off the river, this is a float you will want to consider.
