Foursome Spend the Day Fishing Dryflies

I had a very enjoyable day with Chris and Becky who are up from from Montana. The weather was perfect today; not too hot, calm most of the day, with skies that were overcast. Like Peter and Jeff, Chris and Becky are partial to fishing dryflies so we fished caddis and mayfly dries with smaller nymph droppers pretty well all day. Again today we landed a good number of smaller rainbows but also enjoyed seeing several larger fish landed which was a nice change from the previous two days.
Becky fought a rainbow and a brown that we both well over the 20 inch mark and wore out her arm in the process. The elk hair caddis was the hot dry fly today and we also took fish on a parachute adams and finished off taking a nice rainbow on a green drake pattern. Droppers such as zug bugs and prince nymphs also produced.
